Canada's World Junior Camp Invites

It’s that time of year again.

World Junior’s talk will start up and we will all pretend to know all about the young Canadian star players. We will hear about all the small towns across the country they come from and with the help of TSN and their in depth stories we will know everything about these players over the next three weeks.

Here is the list of players invited to the training camp that will be held at the Leafs practice rink from Dec 12th to the 15th. Let’s hope the Leafs losing ways don’t rub off on the team.

Canada has 4 returning players: defencemen Jared Cowen, Calvin de Haan, Ryan Ellis, and the recently added Brayden Schenn.

Should be interesting to see who makes the final cuts and what players stand out the most this year.

Who do you think will make the team?

Who will be some of the top scorers this year?

  1. wow Ryan Murphy has 44 pts in 28 games?

  2. a shout out to my boy brandon pirri...would love to see him make it

  3. Pirri skated with Connolly today... Schenn should be #1 Centre

  4. Marcus Foligno is better than Nick

  5. Why didn't Jason Akeson get a tryout? whats the age cut off? 52 pts in 29 games!!!

  6. ...and Tyler Toffoli 51pts in 31 games
    Ottawa 67's

  7. Akeson is too old, 20 years is the cut off.

  8. Cody Eakin is going to be a force this year. He almost made Washington this year.

  9. I agree, he's great for his size
