Sunday Recovery

After an eventful Saturday of hockey, and probably heavy drinking, its time to relax and recover on the action across the country. Catch up on some teams and highlights you may have missed while trying to get that blonde's phone number last night.
The Canucks broke the record for longest jersey retirement ceremony last night.
Great night in the NHL last night with lots of stories. The first 3-D hockey game was broadcast between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens (quick stat: the Leafs are undefeated when broadcast in 3-D). Sidney Crosby extended his point streak to 18 games, while the Penquins extended their winning streak to 12. Also, Markus Naslund had his jersey retired by the Vancouver Canucks, in a Coldplay-filled-ceremony that just seemd to drag on.

Here's a recap of the Canadian teams around the league:

Toronto Maple Leafs

Ottawa Senators

Montreal Canadiens

Vancouver Canucks

Edmonton Oilers

Calgary Flames

Awesome post. There is nothing better than outdoor hockey; the cool crisp air going in your lungs is almost sexual to some. And the only way to stay warm is to keep skating...
