The Buck Stops Here

Right now my hangover feels like what Eric Lindros' head must feel like all the time. The only difference is, my wallet is empty right now and his is about to explode like Scott Stevens getting ready to hit.

It's interesting to see just how much money players have made over their careers. We found a cool site that shows player's salaries and totals throughout their career. From time to time we'll update you on some players.

Here's Eric Lindros:

Lindros didn’t play in the 2000-01 season. He was a RFA still recovering from that Scott Stevens hit in the playoffs. The Flyers refused to sign him or deal his rights. The Flyers GM, Bobby Clarke, finally traded Lindros that following summer to the Rangers.

Makes you wonder how much money he would have made if he didn’t have health problems. $100M?

And if you're wondering how much his brother Brett made:

Brett, who was the 9th overall pick in 1994 by the New York Islanders, also had to retire early after a series of concussions and only lasted 2 NHL seasons. Brett's legacy will always be half the production, twice the concussions.
