Shane Doan has actually started to put up points in recent weeks. He is now on a 6 game point streak and has 21 points in his last 19 games. He is definitely worth a look in some leagues now because of his low price tag. Lidstrom continues to put up points every night. With 8 this week, including 6 on the powerplay, he is proving his fantasy worth at age 40. Notable mention goes to Tobias Enstrom who put up 6 points including 4 on the powerplay. There were many goalies with solid weeks, but Jonas Hiller’s is probably the most impressive. Carrying the Ducks with 3 wins this week, he posted 1.33 GAA and stopped 105 shots. Honourable mention also goes to Cam Ward and Miikka Kiprusoff who also went 3-0.

Guys to look out for this week

In the West, Hank “the Tank” Sedin has 4 games this week. Sedin has 49 points in 37 games so far this year. In the East, Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning have 4 games against WSH, PIT, NJ and OTT. Stamkos has 57 pts in 39 games and looks to catch Crosby in the scoring race.

Forward Leader in Points
Sidney Crosby 65pts in 40 games

On D this week, I am going to go with Dan Boyle from the San Jose Sharks. Boyle plays 4 games and so far this year has 28 pts in 39 games. In the East, I’m going to stick with Dustin Byfuglien who is still keeping up his point per game pace. The Thrashers play 3 games against FLA, TOR, CAR.

Defence Leader in Points
Dustin Byfuglien 41 pts in 42 games

In the West I am going to go with Roberto Luongo of the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks have 4 games this week against SJS, CGY, EDM and DET. In the East, Cam Ward has been getting a lot of playing time with the Carolina Hurricanes and posting up some big wins. The Canes have 4 games this week against FLA, NYR, FLA, and ATL.

Goalie Leader in Wins
Jimmy Howard 20 Wins

I had a big week in my Score Bench Boss Pool. I was ranked 38th in the world and moved up to 99th overall for the season.
