You are standing in the hall way, legs shaking and you can barely breathe. There are so many thoughts racing through your head. Did my parents get the tickets I left for them? Am I really here right now. You have finally made it. It’s your first NHL game.
For me, I always pictured my first game would be as a Toronto Maple Leaf at home on a Saturday night. I would have loved for the game to be played at the old Maple Leaf Gardens, but I will settle for the ACC.

Customary in NHL circles, you are the first to go out on the ice as a rookie. You know that the team is going to play the old school trick of having you skate out of the ice by yourself for a lap or two.
So what is that song that is cranking to get you pumped up as you step out on the ice?
For me it would be "Swamp Song" by Oasis.
Remember most intros are just 30 to 45 seconds as the team comes out in the dark and does a few laps before everyone but the starters head to the bench.

Though, I haven't seen many good intros really, just guys skating out to a song. But our local Manitoba Junior Hockey League team skates out to Burn It To The Ground by Nickelback like 1000's of other teams, and it sounds kinda cool!

One of the best songs for a NHL team now is "Rock me like a Hurricane" at the Canes games. Fans go nuts there

Canucks have the best intro in the NHL. U2 and then the fat guy who lets the crowd sing. Gives me goosebumps everytime
