Hopefully more of this... |
Here are a few ideas of what we would like to see some of their players do on their days with the Cup:
- Jordan Nolan should share the day with his dad, Ted, and Dominik Hasek's wife.
- Nobody really knows what Jonathan Quick likes to do as he avoids the spotlight like he stops pucks, so we hope he does something Patrick Kane would do.
- As the first Slovenian-born player to win the Stanley Cup, we hope his country does him right and makes Anze Kopitar an actual king. This might be the only way his mug gets laid.
- Simon Gagne probably shouldn't do much on his day with the Cup, as getting hurt hoisting the Cup sure would suck.
- Dean Lombardi should invite Scott Howson to his day with the Cup and share the day with him, and maybe fleece him again in another trade.
- This would be more of a thing we hope the management does, but the LA Kings should make sure that Drew Doughty is the very last person to have his day with the Stanley Cup after his extended contract negotiations to begin the year soured the Kings training camp.
- Darryl Sutter should lay the Cup next to some hay while he shovels some shit.
- Dustin Penner better eat pancakes out of it.
- Mike Richards and Jeff Carter should have the Cup back-to-back days in a 48 hour non-stop party with plenty of flip cup and beer pong (maybe their buddy Giroux will stop by?). Taylor Stevens should be invited, but we hope Gina Lynn doesn't get jealous.
- Jarret Stoll should invite WHL hockey player and former-almost-son-in-law, Liam Stewart, to his day with the Cup in hopes of hooking up with his hot mom, Rachel Hunter, again.
- Back up goalie, Jonathan Bernier, should post as many pictures as he can on Twitter when he has his day with the Cup and hashtag #MapleLeafs and #TampaBay in all of them to spark trade rumours.
- There's a good chance Dustin Brown might drink from the Cup upside down, or that he takes it diving... (I couldn't bring myself to make a lisp joke, sorry guys).
- Just for nostalgic purposes, we hope Ron Hextall slashes someone across the back of the knee with the Stanley Cup.
Can't see the Kings moving Jonathan Bernier this year. Better to have 2 solid goalies.
ReplyDeleteThat Simon Gagne NHL 98 picture will never get old.
ReplyDeleteI guess Jarret Stoll wanted something a bit younger eh
ReplyDelete:)
I still can't believe the Kings won the Cup.
ReplyDeleteExpect tons of kids from Cali to be making the NHL 15 years from now because of this Cup win and more interest in the game.
I don't know if tons of kids will make the show. But the interest level will forsure go up in the LA area. Just is there enough rinks and quality hockey programs?
