Harding was the feel good story of last year winning the Bill Masterson Memorial trophy after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in September of 2012. In his first game since being diagnosed last January he posted a shutout and proved that MS would not stop him from playing hockey. It's amazing he can still play hockey considering some of the effects of multiple sclerosis are blurred vision, co-ordination issues and fatigue.
So far this season Harding has kept the Wild in games and given them a chance to win (their 3 wins are all from Harding). It will be interesting to see what happens when Backstrom comes back from injury and if the Wild just keep rolling the hot goalie. We can see this being a 1A-1B situation in net for the Wild and that is never a bad thing to have two goalies fighting for playing time.
