Tyler Seguin is off to a hot start with the Dallas Stars and helped pad his stats last night in a blowout against the Calgary Flames. In a 7-3 win, Seguin potted 4 goals and an assist, but unlike Joe Thornton would have, Seguin celebrated his goals in a way that would make Don Cherry proud:
Seguin has been clicking with Stars captain, Jamie Benn, since arriving in the Big D so it's no surprise that when Seguin scores 4 goals and 5 points that Benn is in on all of them and added another assist for 6 points total. The two have been showing some dynamic chemistry and sit 5th (Seguin, 22 points) and 7th (Benn, 21 points) in league scoring. If they keep it up and Team Canada's projected Sochi roster continues to lose players, they could be earning themselves two tickets to the Olympics in February.
