
Crosby posted 135 points as a 16-year-old in 2003-04 and followed that up with 168 points in his sophomore season in the QMJHL with the Rimouski Oceanic. There's no denying McDavid is great and Crosby comparisons are well-deserved as looking at his stats just boggles the mind. McDavid actually started slow with only 1 point in his first game, but since then has had seven 4-point games and helped the Otters off to an impressive 12-0-0-1 record.
McDavid's highlights have not gone unnoticed either, especially when he dazzled his future NHL-home crowd in Buffalo during a game against the Niagara Ice Dogs last month:

The kid is special and you'll be hearing even more about him as the World Juniors approach and he continues his terrific start.
What's going to suck is having an exciting player like McDavid stuck in Arizona, Buffalo or Carolina. Not great markets for a budding superstar.
